Molybdenum market update on January 16, 2026
This week, the domestic molybdenum market overall showed a pattern of initial decline followed by increase. At the beginning of the week, affected by the substantial price increase in molybdenum last week, many buyers' consumption willingness decreased somewhat; combined with the gradual exhaustion of bullish support, suppliers generally lowered quotations rationally. Towards the weekend, the obvious decline in raw material prices at the beginning of the week forced suppliers to enhance profit consciousness; plus the slight improvement in the international molybdenum market, some molybdenum product prices returned to an upward channel, but the increase amplitude was limited.
