Rare earth market update on October 30, 2025
Domestic rare earth prices show partial stabilization, with selective tentative increases: praseodymium-neodymium oxide increased by approximately RMB 6,000 per ton, praseodymium-neodymium metal by approximately RMB 5,000 per ton, and dysprosium oxide by approximately RMB 20,000 per ton. Under this trend, NdFeB blank prices for different brands have risen slightly, such as the 52M NdFeB blank square increasing by approximately RMB 1 per kilogram.
In the light rare earth market, influenced by heightened buying interest at low prices from downstream users and reduced willingness among suppliers to sell at discounts, praseodymium-neodymium series product prices have shown signs of halting declines and rebounding, though the rebound remains modest, warranting cautious operations by traders. In the medium-heavy rare earth market, terbium prices continue weak due to soft demand, while dysprosium prices have adjusted upward amid increased downstream inquiries; other medium-heavy rare earth products show no significant changes.
