Rare earth market update on June 9, 2025
At the beginning of the week, the domestic rare earth market maintained a generally strong performance, primarily reflected in the continued rise of product prices and an increase in new orders. Today, terbium oxide prices increased by approximately 30 yuan/kg, praseodymium-neodymium metal by 8,000 yuan/ton, and praseodymium-neodymium oxide by 7,000 yuan/ton. According to CTIA GROUP LTD, the key drivers behind the recent raw material price hikes include reduced output from some rare earth production enterprises and heightened inquiry activity from downstream users.
