According to data compiled by CTIA GROUP LTD from the General Administration of Customs, China's molybdenum products exports for the first quarter of 2025 are as follows:
In Q1 2025, China exported a total of 9,535.28 tons of molybdenum products, down 19.67% quarter-on-quarter but up 0.94% year-on-year. The total export value was 2,049.81 million yuan, down 23.02% quarter-on-quarter and 5.09% year-on-year.
Roasted molybdenum ores and concentrates: 3,572.78 tons, down 9.02% quarter-on-quarter but up 25.56% year-on-year; export value of 693.01 million yuan, down 9.31% quarter-on-quarter but up 37.46% year-on-year.
Other molybdenum ores and concentrates: 2,098.17 tons, down 30.21% quarter-on-quarter but up 21.51% year-on-year; export value of 300.73 million yuan, down 29.27% quarter-on-quarter but up 32.00% year-on-year.
Molybdenum oxides and hydroxides: 608.39 tons, down 11.14% quarter-on-quarter and 53.41% year-on-year; export value of 161.46 million yuan, down 15.68% quarter-on-quarter but up 52.86% year-on-year.
Ammonium molybdate: 78.49 tons, down 26.38% quarter-on-quarter and 47.16% year-on-year; export value of 18.01 million yuan, down 29.62% quarter-on-quarter and 41.19% year-on-year.
Other molybdates: 103.89 tons, up 14.87% quarter-on-quarter and 10.17% year-on-year; export value of 15.42 million yuan, up 3.41% quarter-on-quarter and 20.87% year-on-year.
Ferromolybdenum: 1,648.75 tons, down 32.42% quarter-on-quarter but up 7.40% year-on-year; export value of 358.81 million yuan, down 32.49% quarter-on-quarter but up 15.04% year-on-year.
Molybdenum powder: 6.61 tons, down 91.74% quarter-on-quarter and 89.01% year-on-year; export value of 3.17 million yuan, down 91.05% quarter-on-quarter and 87.42% year-on-year.
Unwrought molybdenum, including bars and rods simply sintered: 513.66 tons, down 9.04% quarter-on-quarter and 40.03% year-on-year; export value of 207.93 million yuan, down 13.63% quarter-on-quarter and 39.92% year-on-year.
Molybdenum bars, rods, profiles, plates, sheets, strips, and foils: 216.16 tons, down 12.33% quarter-on-quarter but up 28.72% year-on-year; export value of 63.61 million yuan, down 52.32% quarter-on-quarter and 34.20% year-on-year.
Molybdenum wire: 67.04 tons, down 3.26% quarter-on-quarter and 3.32% year-on-year; export value of 35.92 million yuan, down 1.90% quarter-on-quarter and 4.79% year-on-year.
Molybdenum waste and scrap: 574.46 tons, down 5.02% quarter-on-quarter and 0.49% year-on-year; export value of 160.34 million yuan, down 30.03% quarter-on-quarter and 15.25% year-on-year.
Other molybdenum products: 46.87 tons, down 6.16% quarter-on-quarter and 20.99% year-on-year; export value of 30.76 million yuan, down 9.11% quarter-on-quarter and 10.60% year-on-year.
