What Is Molybdenum Rod?
Molybdenum rod is made from 99.95% pure molybdenum with excellent mechanical and physical properties such as high temperature resistance, good thermal and electrical conductivity, and low thermal expansion coefficient, which is mainly used to manufacture electric vacuum devices and electric light source parts, as well as high-temperature heating elements, high-temperature structural parts, electrodes, etc.

Molybdenum Rod Surface Conditions
There are several surface finishes – 1)black surface, the surface is “as swaged" or "as drawn", retaining a coating of processing lubricants and oxides; 2)cleaned, it means surface is chemically cleaned to remove all lubricants and oxides; 3)shiny finish, it means surface is lathe shinny or polished.
